Help save a forest - The town of Index is looking for help to purchase the forested hill just outside of town before loggers cut it down. They have until June 30, 2008 to purchase the land. It would be a shame for this to be clear cut as the hillside is right before the enterance to the new conservation area approved by Bush. Please donate what you can. My main interests are computers, computer art, and most fields of science. My scientific interests are very biased towards space and astronomy. I am a member of The National Space Society, The Planetary Society. and The SETI Institute. I try to keep myself up to date on everything dealing with space and aerospace. My computer interests are raytracing (computer generated images) and basic programming to help create images. I'm also working on a few more complicated programs (more later). In both areas, plus most others, I'm self taught. It can take a while to get things done, but I feel it is a better learning experience. Here's a couple of my first raytraces.
